A cosmetic tattoo accurately describes the popular service of tattooing the appearance of traditional cosmetic eyebrows, eyeliner, and lip colour among other associated services such as scar camouflage and areola repigmentation.
In this podcast episode, Marni will be talking with a multi-awarded makeup artist, medical tattooist and trainer, Lucy White.
Lucy first trained in micro-pigmentation in 2014, quickly establishing a good reputation in the local area. Since this time Lucy’s career has continued to flourish and she has picked up several awards for her permanent cosmetics and established her accredited training.
She decided to qualify for medical micro-pigmentation after working with lots of women preparing to start chemotherapy. These clients would visit mainly for eyebrow tattooing and over the years their stories and courage inspired Lucy so greatly that she decided that she would like to be able to support them with the final stage of their recovery and complete her training in areola micro pigmentation.
Lucy now provides regular areola micropigmentation clinics, working closely with a local foundation and is referred to regularly by several leading surgeons.
Listen with us as Lucy uncovers the biggest misconception about medical and cosmetic tattooing.
