Skin cancer holds the unfortunate distinction of being the world’s most common cancer.
You might already know that catching cancer early means a more favourable prognosis. But it can be difficult to comprehend just how big a difference early detection makes with melanoma, the most dangerous form of skin cancer.
For our first podcast episode this year, Marni will be speaking with Dr Annika Smith of Melanoma Institute Australia.
Dr Smith is a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists and a consultant dermatologist at several private clinics and public hospitals in Sydney.
Annika has a special interest in medical dermatology along with skin cancer diagnostics, management and prevention. She has been published in local and international dermatology journals, has presented at national and international conferences and has co-authored several book chapters in the field of dermatology.
Join us as we dig deeper into melanoma and skin cancer prevention, detection and treatments.
